1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly to us, such as when you fill out the demo-booking form, request a quote, or place an order:
- Contact details — name, email address, phone number, business/company name.
- Business & billing details — billing address, state (for GST place of supply), and GSTIN, where provided, used to issue a GST-compliant invoice.
- Enquiry content — anything you tell us about your requirements, product choice (Nova), preferred plan and onboarding slot.
- Payment-related information — when online payment is enabled on the site, payment is handled directly by our payment gateway partner (Razorpay); we do not receive or store your card, UPI or net-banking credentials. We do receive confirmation of payment status, amount and a transaction reference.
- Automatically collected information — standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and referring URLs, collected via our hosting/CDN provider and, if enabled, analytics tools.
2. How we use your information
- To respond to enquiries, book and conduct demo calls, and prepare scopes/quotations.
- To deliver, operate, maintain and support the Nova application we build for you.
- To process orders, generate GST invoices, and manage the maintenance billing mandate.
- To send you requested materials, and transactional emails (e.g. order confirmations, onboarding schedules, support updates).
- To improve our website and Services, and to detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse or security issues.
- To comply with applicable legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use it for purposes unrelated to those above without asking you first.
3. Legal basis / consent
Where the DPDP Act applies, we process your personal data on the basis of your consent (for example, when you submit a form) or where processing is necessary to perform a contract with you, comply with a legal obligation (such as GST record-keeping), or for other permitted “legitimate uses” recognised under the DPDP Act. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us at the contact details below; this will not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. Sharing with third parties
We share personal data only with service providers who help us run the Services, under appropriate confidentiality and data-processing arrangements:
- Razorpay — payment processing (once online payments are enabled on the site).
- Resend — transactional email delivery (e.g. notifying our team of a new enquiry).
- Tally — the embedded demo-booking form.
- Cloudflare — website hosting, content delivery and security (DDoS protection, bot mitigation).
- WhatsApp Business (Meta) — only if you choose to contact us via the WhatsApp link/button.
- Professional advisors (accountants, auditors, legal counsel) and government authorities, where required to comply with law or protect our legal rights.
We do not permit these providers to use your data for their own marketing purposes.
5. Cookies and similar technologies
The site uses strictly necessary cookies/local storage to remember basic preferences (such as whether you have dismissed the cookie notice, and your selected Nova tab). If we enable analytics (e.g. Google Analytics) or advertising pixels (e.g. Meta Pixel) in the future, this section and the on-site cookie notice will be updated accordingly, and, where required by law, we will request your consent before loading non-essential cookies. You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time.
6. Payments
When online payment is enabled, all card, UPI and net-banking transactions are processed directly by Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. C‑Quence does not store your full card number, CVV or net-banking credentials on its own servers at any time.
7. Data retention
We retain enquiry and contact information for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and maintain our business relationship, and in any case no longer than 24 months from your last interaction with us, unless you are a customer — in which case we retain order, billing and invoicing records for as long as required under Indian tax and company law (currently up to 8 years), or as needed to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.
8. Security
We use industry-standard technical and organisational safeguards — including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and hosting on Cloudflare’s secure infrastructure — to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law (including the DPDP Act, where applicable), you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and understand how it is processed.
- Request correction or updating of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure of your personal data, where it is no longer necessary for the purposes it was collected, subject to our legal record-keeping obligations.
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent.
- Nominate another individual to exercise your rights on your behalf in the event of death or incapacity (as provided under the DPDP Act).
- Lodge a grievance with us (see below) and, if unresolved, escalate it to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.
To exercise any of these rights, write to us at sales@cquence.tech. We will respond within a reasonable time and in any case within the timelines prescribed by law.
10. Children’s privacy
Our Services are intended for businesses and individuals who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. International data transfers
Our infrastructure providers (such as Cloudflare and Resend) may process or store data outside India as part of their global service delivery. Where this occurs, we take reasonable steps to ensure such providers maintain an adequate level of data protection consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal, operational or regulatory reasons. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page will always reflect the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on this page or communicated directly where appropriate.
